Being a by-law to authorize the Reeve
and Clerk to execute an agreement
between the Corporation of the Township
of Pickering and the County Board of
Education.
WHEREAS the Municipality has entered into an agreement
with the Ontario County Board of Education for the
use of the William G. Davis Public School grounds for
improving the playing service to accommodate soccer
league play and for other community purposes;
AND WHEREAS the School Board has decided to make the
said school grounds available for such purposes under
such terms and conditions as set out in the agreement;
AND WHEREAS the Council of the Township of Pickering
is in agreement to such terms and conditions;
BE IT THEREFORE RESOLVED that the Reeve and Clerk be
authorized to execute this said agreement on behalf
of the Municipality of the Township of Pickering.
By-law read a first, second and third time and PASSED
in open Council this 21st day of February, 1972.
