THE CORPORATION OF THE TOWNSHIP OF PICKERING
BY-LAW NUMBER
Being a by-law to authorize the
execution of an agreement between
J.D.S. Developments Ltd., Odeon
Theatres and the Township of
Pickering.
WHEREAS J.D.S. Developments Ltd. proposes to construct
a shopping centre on property owned by it being part
of Lot 22, Concession 1;
AND WHEREAS J.D.S. Developments Ltd. has requested
Odeon Theatres to convey a portion of the property
presently owned by Odeon Theatres;
AND WHEREAS the Township has agreed to co-operate with
J.D.S. and Odeon Theatres in connection with the
exchange of land;
BE IT THEREFORE RESOLVED that the Reeve and Clerk be
authorized to execute an agreement between J.D.S.
Investments Limited and Odeon Theatres (Canada)
Limited and the Corporation of the Township of
Pickering.
By-law read a first, second and third time and passed
in open Council this 7th day of February, 1972.
