A Fly--lac; to confirm the proceedings
of the Council- of the Corporation of
the Town of Pickering at its meeting
held on the
10th day of July 1974
WREREAS by Section 9 of the Mnicipa_l Act, being
Chapter 284 of the P.evised Statutes of Ontario, 1970,
the powers of a municipal corporation are to be ener_cised
by its Council;
ARID WIIERF.IIS by Subsection I of Section 241 of the Municipal
Act, being Chapter. 281 of th Paviscd Statutes of Ontario,
1970, the powers of every Council are to be exercised
by F,y--law;
AND SIISEPE.AS it is deemed expedient that the proceedings
of the Council of the Corporation of the Town of Pickering
at these meetings be confirmed and adopted by By-law;
NOW THEREFORE THE COUNCIL OF 'YHE CORPORATION OF THE T0_,.N
OF PICKERING ENACTS AS FOLLO'IS:
1. The action of the Council of the Corporation of the
Town of Pickering at its meeting held on 10th day

2, The Mayor_ and proper officials of, the Corporatior of

directed to do all things necc nary to give effect to
the action of the Council of the Corporation of the
Town of Pickering referred to in the preccaing
section hors°of;
