WHEREAS clause 33 of subsection 1 of Section 1 of the Highway
Traffic Act (P,.S.O. 1970, Chapter 202) provides that:-
"through highway' means a highway or
part of a highway designated as such
by the Minister or by by-lave of a
municipality approved I)y the Ministry
and every such highway shall be marked
by a stop sign or yield right-of-way
sign in compliance with the regulations
of the Ministry"
NOW THEREFORE the Council of the Corporation of the Town of
Pickering enacts as follows:-

The south side of The north side
Vistula Drive of Breezy Drive
(north intersection)
2. The designation in section 1 of this by-law of a
highway or part of a highway as a -through highway
shall not include any intersection thereon whero
the road intersection is a King's Fighway or v;hare
traffic control signals are installcd.
3. The penalties provided in secl:ion 1.52 of tho ILighway
Traffic Act shall apply to offences against this
by-law.
4. This by-law shall not become effective. until approved
by the Minstry of Transport.
