A By-law of the Corporation of the
Town of Pickering to appoint a
Deputy Treasurer for the Town of
Pickering.
WHEREAS R.S.O. 1970 C.284, Sect. 352, Sub-Sect. 63
authorized the appointment of certain officers for the purposes
of the Corporation;
AND WHEREAS the Council of the Town of Pickering deems
it necessary to have a Deputy Treasurer;
BE IT THEREFORE ENACTED by the Municipal Council of the
Town of Pickering that:
1. James A. Tomlinson be and he is hereby appointed Deputy
Treasurer for the Town of Pickering and his appointment
shall be effective May 20th, 1974.
2. The duties of the said Deputy Treasurer shall be those
as defined in the Assessment Act and the Municipal Act,
as amended together with those duties prescribed by the
Manager.
By-law read a first, second and third time and PASSED in open
Council this day of , 1974.
