A by-law to offer for sale to
the abutting owners, a closed
road allowance in Part Lot 22,
Concession 1
WHEREAS By-law Number 4386/73 was enacted by the Council
of the Corporation of the Township of Pickering which
stopped up and closed a part of road allowance in Lot 22,
Concession 1 and more particularly described as Parts 24,
25, 26, 27, 28, 29, 30, 31, 32, 33, 34, 35, 53, 57, 58,
59, 60, and 61 on Registered Plan 40R-923.
AND WHEREAS said By-law #4386/73 was confirmed by the
Corporation of the County of Ontario by By-law #2955;
AND WHEREAS all but parts 31, 32, and 53 were sold to
abutting owners pursuant to an agreement entered into
by the Corporation of the Township of Pickering and the
abutting owners of all parts save parts 31, 32, and 53;
AND WHEREAS Texaco Canada Limited is the abutting owner
of Part 32 and The Liquor Control Board of Ontario is
the abutting owner of Parts 31 and 53;
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that Parts 31, 32, and 53,
Plan 40R-923 be offered for sale to the abutting owners
at the price of $6.00 per square foot.
AND FURTHER that such offer to be accepted by the abutting
owners on or before May 7, 1974, otherwise the property to
be offered for sale to any other interested person.
By-law read a first, second and third time and passed
this a day of / IyAk , 1974.
