BY-LAW NUMBER 7
A By-law of the Corporation of the
Town of Pickering to appoint members
to the Town of Pickerinc Public
Library Board, and to repeal
By-law Number 4318/73.
WHEREAS The Public Libraries Act, 1966, under Section 5, Subsection
2, provides for the appointment of members to a Public Library Board.
AND WHEREAS By-law 3219 of the Township of Pickerina created a
public library for the whole Township;
BE IT THEREFORE ENACTED that the following persons shall comprise
the Library Board of the Town of Pickering and shall serve for the
term indicated.
1. The following members are hereby appointed for the periods
indicated:
Mrs. J. Lawlor to December 31, 1975 (Public School)
Mr. W.G. Duncan to December 31, 1974 (Public School)
Mrs. J. Mooney to December 31, 1975 (Separate School)
Mrs. E. Walcott to December 31, 1975 (Separate School)
2. The following shall continue as members for the periods
indicated:
Mr. John Coates to December 31, 1974 (Council)
Mr. D. Kitchen to December 31, 1974 (Council)
Mrs. M. Mowbray to December 31, 1974 (Council)
Mr. H. Wank to December 31, 1975 (Public School)
Mr. J.G. Spragge to December 31, 1974 (Council)
By-law Number 4318/73 be and the same is hereby repealed.
By-law read a fi st, second and third time and passed in open
Council this day of _ 1974.
