BY-LAW NUMBER 10/74
A By-law of the Corporation of
the Town of Pickering to appoint
Auditors for the Town of Pickering
for the year 1974.
WHEREAS Section 227 (1) of the Municipal Act,
Revised Statutes of Ontario 1970, Chapter 284,
directs that every Municipality shall appoint one
or more Auditors
BE IT THEREFORE ENACTED BY THE MUNICIPAL COUNCIL OF
THE TOWN OF PICKERING THAT:
1. The firm of Deloitte, ?, Haskins &
Sells be and they are hereby appointed auditors
of the Town of Pickering for the year 1974.
2. The said firm of Deloitte, ?, Haskins
& Sells shall perform such duties as are
prescribed in Chapter 284, Sections 227 to
230 inclusive R.S.O. 1970, The Municipal Act,
advise the staff of better methods of book-
keeping and make recommendations to Council
of such matters as would, in their opinion,
improve the audit or management.
