BY-LAW NUMBER 6/74
Being a By-law of the Corporation
of the Town of Pickering to appoint
a Town Solicitor.
WHEREAS Section 352 (63) of the Municipal Act,
Revised Statutes of Ontario 1970, Chapter 284, Council
may appoint Officers of the Corporation;
THE MUNICIPAL COUNCIL OF THE CORPORATION OF THE
TOWN OF PICKERING THEREFORE ENACTS AS FOLLOWS:
(a) That J. Robert Boxma be and is hereby appointed
Town Solicitor for the Corporation of the Town
of Pickering.
(b) That the duties of the said Town Solicitor shall
be those as defined in the pertaining job
description and from time to time by Council.
