Being a by-law to authorize the
construction of a Public Library
at an estimated cost of $211,000.00
WHEREAS it is desirable that a Public Library for the Bay
Ridges area of the Town of Pickering be constructed for the
educational and cultural needs of the residents;
AND WHEREAS the cost of construction of the Public Library
is estimated at $211,000.00;
AND WHEREAS authority for said construction of the facility
is found in section 352 (39) of the Municipal Act, R.S.O.
1970, as amended;

NOW THEREFORE THE COUNCIL OF THE CORPORATION OF THE TOWN OF
PICKERING HEREBY ENACTS AS FOLLOWS:
1. The construction of the Public Library be and the same
is hereby authorized.
