WHEREAS by Section. 9 of tt?e I'"Irli• 1l ?'-t, ?)e.i.ng
Chapter 284 of t?,e Revi;?eO E'4--,, t•s Cnt_ari.o, 1970,
the powers of a municipal cc,?r4>%rnticm art-' to be exercised
by its Council;
AND WHEREAS by Subsection I of Section 241 of the municipal
Act, being Chapter 284 of the ierisr>r. sta?.utes of Ontario,
1970, the powers of every Council giro to be exercised
by By-law;
AND WHEREAS it is deemed c :pec.ieiiI that the proceedings
of the Council of the Corporation of the. Town of PickerinS
at these meetings be confirmed and adopted by By-law;
NOW THEREFORE THE COUNCIL. OF THE CORE'OP1 TiON OF THE TOFRd
OF PICKERING ENACTS AS FOU,0VIS:
1. The action of the Council of the Corporation of the
Town of Pickering at its sheeting held on the 24th day
of November 1975 in respect of each recomn-
en ation containe In tae PepoT.ts of the Committees
and each motion and resolution nass_cl and other action
taken by the Council. of the Corpnration of the. Town
of Pickering at this meeting, is hereby adopted and
confirmed as if all such proceedin c- were expressly
embodied in this By-law;
2. The Mayor and proper officals of the Corporation of
the-Town of Pickering are hereby au+'.hcrized and
directed to do all things necessary to give effect to
the action of the Council of the Corporation of the
Town of Pickering referred to i.r the preceding
section hereof;
3. The Mayor and Clerk are hereby authorized and directed
to execute all documents necessary In that behalf
and to affix thereto the Seal of the Corporation of
the Town of Pickering,

PASSED this 24th day of November . 1975 .
