BY-LAW NUMBER
A By-law of the Corporation of the
Town of Pickering to appoint a
Town Solicitor
WHEREAS R.S.O. 1970 C. 284, Section 352, Subsection 63
authorizes the appointment of certain officers for the
purpose of the Corporation;
AND WHEREAS it is deemed expedient and desirable to
appoint a Town Solicitor;
BE IT THEREFORE ENACTED by the Municipal Council of the
Town of Pickering that:
1. C.M. Timothy Sheffield, be and he is hereby
appointed Town Solicitor for the Town of
Pickering and shall commence his duties on
November 17th 1975.
2. The duties of the said Town Solicitor shall
be those as defined in the pertaining job
description and from time to time by the
Administrator-Clerk.
By-law read a first, second and third time and PASSED this
