HomeMy WebLinkAboutBy-law 252/75THE CORPORATION OF THE TOWN OF PICKERING BY-LAW NUMBER 9S? 7S Being a By-law to dedicate a one foot Reserve on Brock Road and Bayly Street as a Public Highway WHEREAS the Corporation of the Town of Pickering, by its Resolution Number 66/75, Item 23 and By-law Number 236/75 authorized the execution of an agreement between the Corporation and Palm Drive Developments Limited with respect to the lifting of the one foot reserve in Lot 20, Concession 1, and the said agreement now having been executed; NOW THEREFORE the Council of the Corporation of the Town of Pickering enacts as follows: 1. The one foot reserve in Lot 20, Concession 1 as described in Schedule "A" hereto attached, cl -7 Tr-3 f- al,. 1975 and being a part of this By-law, is hereby dedicated as a public highway. SCHEDULE "A" TO BY-LAW NUMBER _75-, ALL AND SINGULAR that certain parcel or tract of land and premises situate, lying and being in the Town of Pickering, in the Regional Municipality of Durham, in the Province of Ontario, being composed of part of Lot 19 in the First Concession of said Town more particularly described as follows: PREMISING that the northern limit of Bayly Street as widened has an assumed bearing of North 720 37' 40" East and relating all bearings herein thereto; COMMENCING at a point in the interior of said Lot which may be located as follows: BEGINNING at the south eastern angle of said Lot; THENCE North 170 07' 30" West, along the eastern limit of said Lot, 17.00 feet to an iron bar; THENCE South 720 37' 40" West, along the northern limit of Bayly Street as widened, 17.00 feet to an iron bar; THENCE North 170 07' 30" West, along a line parallel to and perpendicularly, distant 17.00 feet westerly from the eastern limit of said Lot, 243.25 feet to an iron bar marking the point of commencement; THENCE North 170 07' 30" West, continuing along the last described parallel line, 120.00 feet to an iron bar; THENCE South 720 37' 40" West, 1.00 foot; THENCE South 170 07' 30" East, 120.00 feet to a point 1.00 foot westerly from the point of commencement, measured on a bearing of South 720 37' 40" West; THENCE North 720 37' 40" East, 1.00 foot to the point of commencement.
