HomeMy WebLinkAboutBy-law 517/76THE CORPORATION OF THE TOWN OF PICKERING BY-LAW NUMBER 'S1 6 Being a By-law to dedicate certain lands as public highways pursuant to s. 443 of The Municipal Act, R.S.O. 1970. (Front Street and Annland Street) 3845k ?fy. WHEREAS the Council of the Corporation of the Township of Pickering expropriated certain lands for Municipal purposes by By-law 3256, passed the 27th day of February 1967; AND WHEREAS The Corporation of the Town of Pickering is the successor to The Corporation of the Township of Pickering, by virtue of the provisions of The Regional Municipality of Durham Act, 1973; AND WHEREAS it is deemed necessary to dedicate those lands, presently owned by the Corporation of the Town of Pickering, as a public highway. THE COUNCIL OF THE CORPORATION OF THE TOWN OF PICKERING HEREBY ENACTS AS FOLLOWS: 1. The lands more particularly described in Schedule "A" hereto, which schedule is hereby made a part of this By-law, are hereby dedicated as a public highway. By-law read a first, second and third time and PASSED this Id, day of , 1976. Q_ cn, Mayor Administrator-Clerk SCHEDULE "A" to BY-LAW NUMBER 517/76 All and singular those certain parcels or tracts of land in the Town of Pickering in the Regional Municipality of Durham (formerly the Township of Pickering in the County of Ontario) and Province of Ontario, and being composed of: FIRSTLY, those parts of Lots 1 to 28, inclusive, according to a plan registered in the Registry Office for the Registry Division of Durham (formerly County of Ontario) as Plan Number 814, designated as Parts 1 to 28, inclusive, on a Plan of Expropriation registered in the said office as Expropriation Plan Number 95; and SECONDLY, that part of Lot 11 according to a plan registered in the said Office as Plan Number 404, designated as Part 29 on the said Expropriation Plan Number 95; and THIRDLY, that part of Lot 1, Block B, and those parts of Lots 1 to 6, inclusive, Block E, and those parts of Water Lots 1 to 9, inclusive, and those parts of Bay Street (now Annland Street), all according to a plan registered in the said office as Plan Number 65, designated as Parts 51, 68, 67, 66, 65, 64, 63, 62, 61, 60, 59, 58, 57, 56, 55, 54, 53, 52, 51, 50, 49, 48, 47, 69, 70, 71, 73, 74, 75 and 77, respectively, on the said Expropriation Plan Number 95; and LASTLY, those parts of Lot 23, Range 3, Broken Front Concession designated as Parts 30 to 46, inclusive, and Parts 72 and 76, on the said Expropriation Plan Number 95.
