Being a by-law to prohibit
"TURNS" at certain intersections
or portions of highway within
the Town of Pickering.
NOW THEREFORE BE IT ENACTED AND IT IS HEREBY ENACTED as a
By-law of the Town of Pickering through its Council thereof
as follows:
1. When an authorized sign to that effect is
displayed, no vehicle in any intersection
or portion of highway set out in Column 1
of Schedule A to this by-law proceeding in
the direction or emerging from a property
set out in Column II of the said schedule,
shall be turned in the direction set out
in Column III of the said schedule, during
the times or days set out in Column 1V of
the said schedule.
2. The penalties provided in Section 152 of
the Highway Traffic Act shall apply to offences
against this By-law.
3. This by-law shall come into force on the date
that is is approved by the Council of the Town
of Pickering and when signs to the effect are
erected.
By-law read a first, second and third time and PASSED this
9 day of 1976.
