Being a by-law to clarify
the intention of the Council
of the Corporation of the
Town of Pickering in by-law
Number 308/75
WHEREAS the Council of the Corporation of the Town of Pickering
pursuant to Section 29, Subsection 5 of The Planning Act, R.S.O. 1970,
Chapter 349, as amended, enacted on the 20th day of October 1975
by-law No. 308/75, being a by-law to exempt certain parts of Plan M-1025
from part lot control;
AND WHEREAS by typographical error by-law No. 308/75 was enacted making
reference to "Subsection 4 of The Planning Act, R.S.O. 1970, Chapter 349"
AND WHEREAS it was the Council's intention to enact the said by-law
making reference to "Subsection 4 of Section 29 of The Planning Act,
R.S.O. 1970, Chapter 349";
NOW THEREFORE THE COUNCIL OF THE CORPORATION OF THE TOWN OF PICKERING
ENACTS AS FOLLOWS:
1. Section 1 of By-laW No. 308/75 is amended by adding
thereto for clarification and phrase "of Section 29"
immediately following the phrase "Subsection 4" in the
first line thereof.
By-law read a first, second and third time and PASSED in open Council
this day of ?Aj AL 1976.
