BY-LAW NUMBER 155/75
A By-law of the Corporation of the
Town of Pickering to appoint members to
the Town of Pickering Public Library
Board, and to repeal By-law # 65/74
WHEREAS The Public Libraries Act, 1966, under Section 5,
Subsection 2, provides for the appointment of members to
a Public Library Board;
BE IT THEREFORE ENACTED that the following persons shall
comprise the Library Board of the Town of Pickering and
shall serve for the term indicated.
1. The following members are hereby appointed for the
periods indicated:
Mr. W.G. Duncan to December 31, 1977 (Public School)
Mr. John Coates to December 31, 1975 (Council)
Mr. D. Kitchen to December 31, 1975 (Council)
Mrs. M. Mowbray to December 31, 1976 (Council)
Mr. J.G. Spragge to December 31, 1976 (Council)
2. The following shall continue as members for the
periods indicated:
Mrs. J. Lawlor to December 31, 1975 (Public School)
Mrs. J. Mooney to December 31, 1975 (Separate School)
Mrs. C. McCaughey to December 31, 1975 (Separate School)
Mr. H. Wank to December 31, 1975 (Public School)
By-law Number 65/74 be and the same is hereby repealed.
By-law read a first, second and third time and passed in
open Council this 13 L day of 1975.
