Being a By-law to authorize the
execution of a Transfer
(re: Part Block M, Plan M-1057 -
Parts 1 - 4 inclusive, Plan 40R-3448)
WHEREAS Parts 1, 2, 3 and 4 on Registered Plan 40R-3448 effectively
prevent access from Eastbank Road to Parts 5, 6, 7 and 8 of Registered
Plan 40R-3265;
AND WHEREAS it is deemed desirable to allow access to those parts on
certain conditions;
NOW THEREFORE the Council of the Corporation of the Town of Pickering
enacts as follows:
1. The Mayor and Clerk are hereby authorized and
directed to execute on behalf of the Corporation
of the Town of Pickering a Transfer transferring
the fee simple in the land and premises known as
Parts 1, 2, 3 and 4, Plan 40R-3448, being part of
Block M, Plan M-1057, Town of Pickering, from the
Corporation of the Town of Pickering to Jack
Jacobsen Construction Limited upon Jack Jacobsen
Construction Limited
(i) entering into a satisfactory development
agreement with the Corporation of the Town
of Pickering for the development of Parts
5, 6, 7 and 8, Plan 40R-3265, and
(ii) completing satisfactory financial arrangements
with Bramalea Limited.
