BY-LAW NUMBER 845/78
To amend By-law Number 264/75
to establish the speed limit on
a portion of Concession 3 Road
at 60 km/h.
WHEREAS By-law Number 264/75 allows Council to authorize
the speed limits on highways under the jurisdiction of
the Town of Pickering;
AND WHEREAS it is deemed expedient to establish the speed
limit on Concession 3 Road from the west limit of
Concession 3 Road to Altona Road at 60 kilometres (35 miles)
per hour;
NOW THEREFORE THE COUNCIL OF THE CORPORATION OF THE TOWN OF
PICKERING HEREBY ENACTS AS FOLLOWS:
1. Schedule "B" of By-law 264/75 is hereby amended by
adding the following line:
Concession 3 Road west limit Altona Road
2. This By-law shall take effect upon approval by the
Regional Municipality of Durham.
By-law read a first, second and third time and finally
passed this day of 1978.
