Being a by-law to appoint Mr.
Noel Marshall as acting Town
Clerk pro tempore.
WHEREAS pursuant to subsection 3 of Section 215 of
The Municipal Act, R.S.O. 1970, c. 284, Council may
appoint an acting Town Clerk pro tempore when the
office of Clerk is vacant or the Clerk is unable to
carry on his duties through illness or otherwise;
AND WHEREAS it is deemed expedient to appoint Mr. Noel
Marshall as acting Town Clerk pro-tempore;
NOW THEREFORE the Council of the Corporation of the
Town of Pickering hereby enacts as follows:
1. Mr. Noel Marshall is hereby appointed Acting
Town Clerk, pro tempore.
2. By-law 31/74 is hereby repealed.
By-law read a first, second and third time and finally
PASSED this 19th day of June , 1978.
