To amend By-law Number 264/75
to reduce the speed limit on
Brougham Road.
WHEREAS By-law Number 264/75 allows Council to
authorize the speed limits on highways under the
jurisdiction of the Town of Pickering;
AND WHEREAS it is deemed expedient to reduce the
speed limit on Brougham Road from 60 kilometres
(35 miles) per hour to 50 kilometres (30 miles)
per hour;
NOW THEREFORE THE COUNCIL OF THE CORPORATION OF
THE TOWN OF PICKERING HEREBY ENACTS AS FOLLOWS:
1. Schedule "B" of By-law 264/75 is hereby
amended by deleting the following line:
Brougham Road Highway No. 7 Brock Road
2. This By-law shall take effect upon approval
by the Regional Municipality of Durham.
BY-LAW read a first, second and third time and
finally PASSED this 19th day of June , 1978
