BY-LAW NUMBER 811/78
A By-law of The Corporation of the
Town of Pickering to levy such rates
against all of the assessed propert-
ies in the Town of Pickering as will
be required to cover the 1978
requisitions from the Durham Board
of Education and the Durham Roman
Catholic Separate School Board.
WHEREAS the Durham Board of Education and the Durham
Roman Catholic Separate School Board have requisit-
ioned the Council of the Town of Pickering for certain
sums of money being the Town's share of the 1978
operating and capital costs of various Elementary and
Secondary Schools under their jurisdiction;
NOW THEREFORE THE COUNCIL OF THE CORPORATION OF THE
TOWN OF PICKERING HEREBY ENACTS AS FOLLOWS:
1. THAT there be raised, levied and collected from
and upon all the rateable property in the Town
of Pickering the rates and sums set out in
Schedule "A" attached hereto.
READ a first, second and third time and PASSED
this 15th day of May 1978.
