Being a Restricted Area By-law to implement
the Official Plan of the Township (now Town)
of Pickering District Planning Area, Region
of Durham, in Part Lot 20, Range 3, Town of
Pickering.
WHEREAS THE Council of the Corporation of the Town of Pickering
deems it desirable to permit the establishment of an eating
establishment in part of Lot 20, Range 3, of the Town of Pickering.
AND WHEREAS an Amendment to By-law 2511 is therefore deemed
necessary;
NOW THEREFORE THE COUNCIL OF THE CORPORATION OF THE TOWN OF
PICKERING HEREBY ENACTS AS FOLLOWS:
1. By-law 2511 passed by the Council of the Corporation
of the Township (now Town) of Pickering on the 5th day of
October, 1960, and approved by the Ontario Municipal Board-on
the 3rd day of January, 1963, and amended from time to time,
is hereby further amended to the extent necessary to give effect
to the provisions of Section 2 and 3 hereof.
2. TEXT AMENDMENT
Section 14 of the said By-law is hereby further
amended by adding thereto the following subsection:-
14.4 EXCEPTIONS
14.4.1 Part Lot 20, Range 3
Notwithstanding the provisions of Section 14.1
hereof, the lands designated C2-1 on Schedule
"A" hereto and located in Part of Lot 20, Range
3, may be used only for the purpose of an
eating establishment as defined herein in
accordance with the provisions of Sections 14.2
and 14.3 hereof.

3. SCHEDULE "A" AMENDMENT
Schedule "A" to By-law 2511, as amended, is hereby
further amended by altering from 'Ml" to "C2-1" the zone
designation of the lands designated "C2-1" on Schedule "A"
attached hereto and located in Part of Lot 20, Range 3.
4. No part of this By-law shall come into force without
the approval of the Ontario Municipal Board, but subject to
such approval, this By-law shall take effect from the day of
passing thereof.
