THE CORPORATION OF THE TOWN OF PICKERING
BY-LAW NUMBER 958/79
Being a by-law to stop up Part 2 on
Reference Plan 40R-4203 on Parkside
Drive and to authorize the sale there-
of to the abutting property owners.
Whereas pursuant to the provisions of subsection 1 of
section 443 of The Municipal Act, R.S.O. 1970, c. 284,
the council of any municipality may pass by-laws inter
alia, to stop up a highway or part thereof and to sell
parts of stopped-up highways; and
Whereas Part 2 on Reference Plan 40R-4203 was dedicated
as a public highway on May 1, 1978 by By-law 801/78 which
by-law was registered on May 3, 1978 as Instrument Number
LTD 67520; and
Whereas it is deemed expedient to

NOW THEREFORE THE COUNCIL OF THE CORPORATION OF THE TOWN
OF PICKERING HEREBY ENACTS AS FOLLOWS:
The lands described in Schedule "A" attached hereto
are hereby stopped up as a public highway.
2. The lands described in Schedule "A" attached hereto
shall be offered for sale to the abutting property
owners at a price of $2.00.
By-law read a first and second time this 19th day of
February 1979.

SCHEDULE "A" TO BY-LAW 958/79
ALL AND SINGULAR that certain parcel or tract of land in
the Town of Pickering in the Regional Municipality of Durham
and Province of Ontario and being composed of that part of
Parcel Q-1, according to a plan registered in the Land Titles
Office for the Registry Division of Durham as Plan M-1058,
designated as Part 2 on a plan of survey of record registered
in the said Office as Plan 40R-4203.
