Being a By-Law to appoint an Interim Head
of the Planning Department (Mr. Bradley
Rogers)
WHEREAS, pursuant to section 352.63 of The Municipal Act,
R.S.O. 1970, chapter 284, the Council of the Corporation of the
Town of Pickering enacted, on May 15th, 1978, By-Law 814/78
appointing Mr. Richard Tsao Planning Director for the Town of
Pickering effective May 1st, 1978; and
WHEREAS, by Resolution 106/80, made September 15th, 1980,
Council granted a six-month leave of absence to Mr. Richard
Tsao, Planning Director; and
WHEREAS, it is deemed desirable to appoint an Interim
Head of the Planning Department in the absence of the Planning
Director;
NOW THEREFORE, the Council of the Corporation of the Town
of Pickering HEREBY ENACTS AS FOLLOWS:
1. Mr. Bradley Rogers, Senior Planner, is hereby appointed
Interim Head of the Planning Department, effective
October 15th, 1980 to carry out the duties of the
Planning Director in the Planning Director's absence.
2. This appointment shall expire on April 15th, 1981 unless
earlier terminated.
BY-LAW read a first, second and third time and finally passed
this 14th day of October , 1980.
