THE CORPORATION OF THE TOWN OF PICKERING
BY-LAW NO. 1179/80
Being a By-Law to provide for the assump-
tion of aboveground and underground ser-
vices in Plan M-1122.
WHEREAS, pursuant to the provisions of a Subdivision
Agreement dated June 20th, 1977, between Alves Construction
Limited and the Corporation of the Town of Pickering, Alves
Construction Limited, and its successors, have completed
certain aboveground and underground services in Plan of Sub-
division M-1122 to the satisfaction of the Corporation of
the Town of Pickering; and
WHEREAS, it is deemed desirable for the Corporation
of the Town of Pickering to accept such services and assume
same for maintenance;
NOW THEREFORE, the Council of the Corporation of the
Town of Pickering HEREBY ENACTS AS FOLLOWS:
1. The aboveground services, consisting of the
roads, curbs, sidewalks, driveway aprons,
boulevards, street signs, fencing and grad-
ing, located on lands dedicated to the Town
in Plan M-1122, or immediately adjacent
thereto, are hereby accepted by the Town
and assumed by it for maintenance.
2. The underground services, consisting of storm
sewers and related appurtenances, located on
lands dedicated to the Town in Plan M-1122,
or immediately adjacent thereto, are hereby
accepted by the Town and assumed by it for
maintenance.
3. This By-Law shall be deemed to have come into
force on June 27th, 1980.
BY-LAW read a first, second and third time and finally passed
this 6th day of October , 1980.
