BY-LAW NO. 1148/80
Being a By-Law to dedicate certain lands
as a public highway (Part Lot 12, Con-
cession 5; Greenwood Road)
WHEREAS, the Corporation of the Town of Pickering is
the owner in fee simple of certain lands being part of Lot
12, Concession 5, Town of Pickering; and
WHEREAS, it is deemed necessary to dedicate those
lands as a public highway;
NOW THEREFORE, the Council of the Corporation of the
Town of Pickering HEREBY ENACTS AS FOLLOWS:
1. The lands more particularly described in Schedule
"A" attached hereto, which Schedule is hereby
made a part of this By-Law, are hereby dedicated
as a public highway (Part Lot 12, Concession 5;
Greenwood Road).
BY-LAW read a first, second and third time and finally passed
this 7th day of July , 1980.

SCHEDULE "A"
to By-law 1148/80
ALL AND SINGULAR that certain parcel or tract of land and
premises, situate, lying and being in the Town of Pickering,
in the Regional Municipality of Durham and Province of Ontario
and being composed of that part of Lot 12, Concession 5, more
particularly described as follows:
PREMISING that the bearing of the north limit of the said Lot
is N 73004'E and relating all bearings used herein thereto;
COMMENCING at a point in the west limit of Greenwood Road in
the said Lot 12 which said point may be located as follows:
BEGINNING at the north east angle of the said Lot 12, Conces-
sion 5;
THENCE S 14053`40" E to a point in the said west limit of
Greenwood Road, a distance of 3,335.34 feet;
THENCE S 23032'E along said west limit of Greenwood Road a
distance of 779.0 feet to the Point of Commencement;
THENCE from the Point of Commencement S 23a32'E and contin-
uing along said west limit of Greenwood Road a distance of
471 feet;
THENCE S 66041'20"W a distance of 10 feet to a point;
THENCE Northerly and parallel to the West limit of Greenwood
Road a distance of 471 feet to a point;
THENCE North 6700'30"E a distance of 10 feet to the Point of
Commencement.
