BY-LAW NUMBER 1132/80
Being a Restricted Area By-law to amend
Restricted Area By-law 3037, as amended,
to implement the Official Plan of the
Town of Pickering District Planning Area,
Region of Durham, in Part Lot 4,
Concession 5, in the Town of Pickering.
WHEREAS THE Council of the Corporation of the Town of Pickering
deems it desirable to permit the establishment of a one-family
detached dwelling on the subject lands, being part of Lot 4,
Concession 5, in the Town of Pickering;
AND WHEREAS an amendment to By-law 3037, as amended is therefore
deemed necessary;
NOW THEREFORE THE COUNCIL OF THE CORPORATION OF THE TOWN OF
PICKERING HEREBY ENACTS AS FOLLOWS:
1. BY-LAW 3037
By-law 3037, passed by the Council of the Corporation of the
Township (now Town) of Pickering on the 3rd day of August,
1965 and approved by the Ontario Municipal Board on the 10th
day of November, 1966, and amended from time to time, is hereby
further amended to the extent necessary to give effect to the
provisions of this By-law.
2. TEXT AMENDMENT
Section 12 of By-law 3037, as amended, is hereby further
amended by adding thereto the following subsection:
12.6.3. Part Lot 4, Concession 5
Notwithstanding the provisions of subsection 12.3 of
this section, a one-family detached dwelling may be
established on the lands desiggnated "Q-1" on
Schedule "I" to By-law 113MO in accordance
with the provisions of sectio- n 6.2.T of this By-law.
3. SCHEDULE "A" AMENDMENT
Schedule "A" to By-law 3037, as amended, is hereby further
amended by altering from "Q" to "Q-1" the zone designation
of the lands designated Q-1 on Schedule "I" hereto and
located in part of Lot 4, Concession 5, in the Town of
Pickering.

4. EFFECTIVE DATE
This By-law shall take effect from the date of passing
hereof subject to the approval of the Ontario Municipal
Board, if required.
