BY-LAW 1098/80
Being a Restricted Area By-law to amend
Restricted Area By-law 3036, as amended,
to implement the official Plan of the
Town of Pickering District Planning Area,
Region of Durham, on Part Lot 25,
Concession 1, in the Town of Pickering.
WHEREAS the Council of the Corporation of the Town of Pickering
deems if desirable to permit the establishment of a day nursery
on the subject lands, being part of Lot 25, Concession 1, in
the Town of Pickering;
AND WHEREAS an amendment to By-law 3036, as amended, is therefore
deemed necessary;
NOW THEREFORE THE COUNCIL OF THE CORPORATION OF THE TOWN OF
PICKERING HEREBY ENACTS AS FOLLOWS:
1. By-law 3036
By-law 3036, passed by the Council of Corporation of the
Township (now Town) of Pickering on the 3rd day of August,
1965, and approved by the Ontario Municipal Board on the
7th day of October, 1966, and amended from time to time, is
hereby further amended to the extent necessary to give
effect to the provisions of this by-law.
2. Text Amendment
Section 9 of By-law 3036, as amended, is hereby further
amended by adding thereto the following subsection:
9.3.2 Part Lot 25, Concession 1
The lands designated R3-DN on Schedule "I" to By-law 1098/80
and located in part of Lot 25, Concession 1, may be used
for the purpose of a day nursery in addition to the uses
permitted under Section 9.1 hereof.
3. Schedule "A" Amendment
Schedule "A" to By-law 3036, as amended, is hereby further
amended by altering from "R3" to "R3-DN" the zone designation
of the lands designated R3-DN on Schedule "I" hereof and
located in part of Lot 25, Concession 1, in the Town of
Pickering.
4. Effective Date
This By-law shall take effect from the date of passing
hereof, subject to the approval of the Ontario Municipal
Board, if required.
