BY-LAW NUMBER 1401/81
Being a by-law to dedicate Highbush Trail
as a public highway.
WHEREAS by Deposit Number 128824 deposited on March 15, 1965,
the then Clerk of the Township of Pickering declared that
Highbush Trail had been maintained by public funds for the
past fifteen years; and
WHEREAS it is deemed necessary to dedicate Highbush Trail as a
public highway;
NOW THEREFORE the Council of the Corporation of the Town of
Pickering HEREBY ENACTS as follows:
1. The lands more particularly described in Schedule "A"
attached hereto, which Schedule is hereby made a part
of this By-law, are hereby dedicated as a public high-
way (Highbush Trail).
BY-LAW READ a first, second and third time and finally PASSED
this 16th day of November, 1981.

SCHEDULE "A" TO BY-LAW NUMBER 1401/81
ALL AND SINGULAR that certain parcel or tract of land and
premises situate, lying and being in the Town of Pickering
in the Regional Municipality of Durham (formerly the Township
of Pickering, County of Ontario) and Province of Ontario, and
being composed of part of Block 2 as shown on a plan registered
in the Registry Office for the Registry Division of Durham as
Number 346, and the limits of which said parcel of land may
be more particularly described as follows:
PREMISING that the northeasterly limit of said Block 2 has
an assumed course of north 40003'00" west and relating all
bearings herein thereto;
COMMENCING at a point in the northeasterly limit of said
Block 2 being also the southwesterly limit of Old Forest
Road as shown on said Registered Plan 346, distant 338 feet
and 11 inches from the northeast angle of said Block 2;
THENCE south 72059'00" west 271 feet 0 inches to a point;
THENCE south 17001'00" east 200 feet 0 inches to a point;
THENCE south 41031'00" east 219 feet 9 inches to a point;
THENCE south 59059'00" east 136 feet 7 inches to a point;
THENCE south 30026'00" east 102 feet 9-1/2 inches to a point;
THENCE south 10041'00" east 100 feet 7-1/2 inches to a point;
THENCE south 30014'00" east 205 feet 5 inches to a point;
THENCE south 39040'00" east 325 feet 3/4 inch to a point;

the westerly limit of said Old Forest Road being also the
