BY-LAW NUMBER 1385/81
Being a by-law to amend By-law 851/78
providing for the regulating of parking,
standing and stopping on highways or parts
of highways under the jurisdiction of the
Corporation of the Town of Pickering and
on private and municipal property and to
designate school bus loading zones.
WHEREAS, on July 10th, 1978, the Council of the Corporation of
the Town of Pickering enacted By-law 851/78, providing for the
regulating of parking, standing and stopping on highways or
parts of highways under the jurisdiction of the Corporation of
the Town of Pickering and on private and municipal property;
and
WHEREAS it is deemed expedient to establish a "No Stopping"
zone on both sides of Oklahoma Drive in front of Frenchman's
Bay Public School;
NOW THEREFORE the Council of the Corporation of the Town of
Pickering HEREBY ENACTS as follows:
1. Schedule "A" to By-law 851/78 is hereby amended by adding
thereto the following:

Prohibited Times
Highway Side Between/And or Days
Oklahoma North and 50 metres east of West 8:30 a.m. to 4:30
Drive South Shore Boulevard and 120 p.m.
metres east of West Nbnday to Friday
Shore Boulevard
2. This by-la w shall take effect upon the approval of the
Council of the Reg ional municipality and when the required
signs are erected.
BY-LAW READ a first, second and third time and finally PASSED
this 19th day of October, 1981.
