By-law Number 1384/81
Being a by-law to amend By-law 911/78
dedicating certain highways within the
Town of Pickering as through highways.
WHEREAS By-law 911/78 enacted on October 30, 1978, as amended
by By-law 1343/81 enacted on July 6, 1981, dedicating certain
highways within the Town of Pickering as through highways; and
WHEREAS it is deemed expedient to further amend this by-law to
dedicate Dixie Road between Concession 3 Road and Finch Avenue
as a through highway;
NOW THEREFORE the Council of the Corporation of the Town of
Pickering HEREBY ENACTS as follows:
1. Schedule "A" to By-law 911/78 is hereby amended by adding
thereto the following:
COLUMN I COLUMN II
Highway From To
Dixie Road Concession 3 Road Finch Avenue
2. This by-law shall come into force on the date that it is
approved by the Council of the Regional Municipality of
Durham and when signs to the effect are erected.
BY-LAW READ a first, second and third time and finally PASSED
this 19th day of October, 1981.
