BY-LAW NO. 1383 /81
Being a By-Law to authorize the execution
of Deeds between the Corporation of the
Town of Pickering and the Regional Munici-
pality of Durham respecting Part Block AZ
and Part Block Z, Plan M-16 (Radom Street
Day Care Centre)
WHEREAS, on March 31st, 1974, the Corporation of the Town of Pickering,
as successor to the Corporation of the Township of Pickering, was the
owner in fee simple of certain lands and premises in Part Block AZ and
Part Block Z, Plan M-16, Pickering, comprising the Radom Street Day
Care Centre and appurtenances thereto; and
WHEREAS, pursuant to the provisions of section 86(3) of the Regional
Municipality of Durham, R.S.O. 1980, chapter 434, all the assets of
area municipalities pertaining to functions governed by the Day
Nurseries Act, R.S.O. 1980, chapter 111, became the assets of the
Regional Municipality of Durham on April 1st, 1974; and
WHEREAS, the Regional Municipality of Durham has requested a transfer
from the Corporation of the Town of Pickering (as successor to the
Corporation of the Township of Pickering) confirming the Regional
Corporation's title to the said lands and premises;
NOW THEREFORE, the Council of the Corporation of the Town of Pickering
HEREBY ENACTS AS FOLLOWS:
1. The Mayor and Clerk are hereby authorized to execute a Deed, in
the form attached hereto as Schedule "A", between the Corporation
of the Town of Pickering and the Regional Municipality of Durham
respecting that Part of Block AZ, Plan M-16, Pickering, designa-
ted as Parts 1, 2, 3, 4, 5 and 6 on Plan 40R-4248. (Radom Street
Day Care Centre).
2. The Mayor and Clerk are hereby authorized to execute a Deed, in
the form attached hereto as Schedule "B", between the Corporation
of the Town of Pickering and the Regional Municipality of Durham
respecting that Part of Block Z, Plan M-16, Pickering, designa-
ted as Parts 7 and 8 on Plan 40R-4248. (Radom Street Day Care
Centre).
READ a first, second and third time and finally passed this 19th day
of October , 1981.

SUBJECT to an easement in favour of The Hydro-Electric Power Commission
of Ontario, over Parts 4, 5 and 6, Plan 40R-4248 as in Transfer 2183.
SUBJECT to an easement in favour of the Corporation of the Township
of Pickering over the lands designated as shown as Parts 2 and 5,
Plan 40R-4248.
