BY-LAW NUMBER 1375/81
Being a by-law to change the name of a
portion of Sideline 30 to Golf Club Road.
WHEREAS pursuant to paragraph 97 of subsection 1 of section 354
of The Municipal Act, R.S.O. 1970, c. 284, as amended, councils
of local municipalities may pass by-laws to change the names of
highways; and
WHEREAS it is deemed expedient to change the name of a portion
of Sideline 30 to Golf Club Road;
NOW THEREFORE the Council of the Corporation of the Town of
Pickering HEREBY ENACTS as follows:
1. The name of the highway listed under the heading "Street"
in Schedule "A" attached hereto be changed to the name
listed under the heading "New Street Name" in the loca-
tion indicated and for the reason cited.
2. This by-law shall take effect upon registration in the
Registry Office for the Registry Division of Durham.
