BY-LAW NUMBER 1362/81
To amend By-law Number 202/75 which gives
names to the highways within the Town of
Pickering.
WHEREAS pursuant to paragraph 97 of subsection 1 of section
354 of The Municipal Act, R.S.O. 1970, c. 284, as amended,
by-laws may be passed by the councils of local municipalities
to give names to highways falling within its jurisdiction;
and
WHEREAS the Council of the Corporation of the Town of Pickering
passed By-law 202/75 on April 7, 1975 to name the highways
within the Town; and
WHEREAS it is deemed expedient to amend By-law 202/75 to name
those highways which have been dedicated to the Town of
Pickering as a public highway since the passing of By-law
202/75;
NOW THEREFORE the Council of the Corporation of the Town of
Pickering HEREBY ENACTS as follows:
1. By-law 202/75 is hereby amended by deleting
Schedules "A", "B" and "C" thereto and sub-
stituting Schedules "I", "II" and "III"
hereto. (3870.1)
BY-LAW READ a first, second and third time and finally PASSED
this 21st day of September, 1981.
