BY-LAW NUMBER 1347/81
Being a by-law to amend By-law 1024/79
appointing the members of the Pickering
Hydro-Electric Commission for the term
June 22, 1979 to November 30, 1982, both
inclusive.
WHEREAS pursuant to the provisions of subsections 4 and 10
of section 2 of The Durham Municipal Hydro-Electric Service
Act, 1979, S.O. 1979, c. 71, as amended, the Council of
the Corporation of the Town of Pickering enacted on July 30,
1979 By-law 1024/79 appointing members to the Pickering
Hydro-Electric Commission; and
WHEREAS by resolution dated July 29, 1981, the Pickering
Hydro-Electric Commission accepted the resignation of
Commissioner Robert E. Gregory effective August 31, 1981;
and
WHEREAS it is deemed desirable to fill the vacancy created
by the resignation of Mr. Gregory;
NOW THEREFORE the Council of the Corporation of the Town of
Pickering HEREBY ENACTS as follows:
1. Section 1 of By-law 1024/79 is hereby amended
by deleting the name "Mr. Robert E. Gregory"
and substituting therefor the name "Mr. John
Henderson" (2130.1.16).
BY-LAW READ a first, second and third time and finally PASSED
this 8th day of September, 1981.
