BY-LAW NO. 1294/81
Being a By-Law to appoint a Director of
Planning for the Corporation of the Town
of Pickering (Mr. Tony Magi) and to
repeal By-Law 1277/81.
WHEREAS, pursuant to section 352.63 of The Municipal Act,
R.S.O. 1970, chapter 284, the council of a municipality
may pass By-Laws for appointing such officers and servants
as may be necessary for the purposes of the Corporation;
and
WHEREAS, on April 6th, 1981, the Council of the Corporation
of the Town of Pickering enacted By-Law 1277/81, appointing
Mr. Noel C. Marshall Acting Director of the Planning Depart-
ment until such time as a Director is appointed;
NOW THEREFORE, the Council of the Corporation of the Town
of Pickering HEREBY ENACTS AS FOLLOWS:
1. Mr. Tony Magi is hereby appointed Director of Planning
for the Corporation of the Town of Pickering effective
May 25th, 1981, to carry out the duties of the Director
until such time as this appointment is terminated.
2. By-Law 1277/81 is hereby repealed, as of May 24th, 1981.
BY-LAW read a first, second and third time and finally passed
this 19th day of May, 1981.
