BY-LAW NO. 1281/81
Being a By-Law to authorize the execution
of a Release by the Corporation of the
Town of Pickering of Wm. J. Woods and
Audrey S. Woods from a Demolition Agreement
pertaining to Lot 84, Plan 816, Pickering.
WHEREAS, the Corporation of the Township of Pickering and Wm.
J. Woods and Audrey S. Woods entered into an Agreement dated
May 24th, 1968 and registered June 14th, 1968 as Instrument
No. 169122 in the Registry Office for the Registry Division
of Durham; and
WHEREAS, the Corporation of the Town of Pickering is the suc-
cessor to the Corporation of the Township of Pickering; and
WHEREAS, it is now deemed expedient to release Wm. J. Woods
and Audrey S. Woods from the provisions of the said Agreement;
NOW THEREFORE, the Council of the Corporation of the Town
of Pickering HEREBY ENACTS AS FOLLOWS:
1. The Mayor and Clerk are hereby authorized to
execute a Release, in the form attached
hereto as Schedule "A", between the Corporation
of the Town of Pickering and Wm. J. Woods and
Audrey S. Woods respecting Lot 84, Plan 816,
Pickering.
BY-LAW read a first, second and third time and finally passed
this 21st day of April , 1981.

SCHEDULE "A" to By-law 1281/81
RELEASE
In consideration of the sum of Two Dollars ($2.00) paid to
it, receipt of which is hereby by it acknowledged,
THE CORPORATION OF THE TOWN OF PICKERING
hereby releases and forever discharges
WM. J. WOODS and AUDREY S. WOODS, their heirs, executors,
administrators, successors and assigns of and from all claims,
demands, damages, actions or causes of action which may have
arisen, are arising, or may arise as a result of or in any way
related to an Agreement dated May 24th, 1968 and registered on
June 14th, 1968 as Instrument No. 169122 between its predeces-
sor
THE CORPORATION OF THE TOWNSHIP OF PICKERING and
the said WM. J. WOODS and AUDREY S. WOODS
concerning the lands more particularly described in Schedule
"A" attached hereto.
IN WITNESS WHEREOF the Corporation of the Town of Pickering
has hereunto affixed its corporate seal attested by its prop-
erly authorized officers this day of , 1981.

ALL AND SINGULAR that certain parcel or tract of land and
premises situate, lying and being in the Town of Pickering
in the Regional Municipality of Durham and Province of
Ontario (formerly the Township of Pickering in the County of
Ontario) and being composed of Lot 84, according to Regis-
trar's Compiled Plan No. 816,
AS DESCRIBED in Instrument No. 169122.
