THE CORPORATION OF THE TOWN OF PICKERING
BY-LAW NUMBER 1279/81
Being a Restricted Area By-law to amend
Restricted Area By-law 3036, as amended,
to implement the Official Plan of the
Town of Pickering District Planning Area,
Region of Durham, in Block AC, Plan M-997
and Part of Lot 22, Concession 1 (Part 1,
Plan 40R-4653), in the Town of Pickering.
WHEREAS the Council of the Corporation of the Town of Pickering
passed By-law 307/75, amending By-law 3036, on the 20th day of
October 1975, to permit multiple-family residential development
at a maximum density of 15 units per acre and a local commercial
establishment to occur on the subject lands;
AND WHEREAS By-law 307/75 was approved by the Ontario Municipal
Board on the 25th day of February, 1976;
AND WHEREAS the Council of the Corporation of the Town of Pickering
now deems it desirable to amend By-law 307/75 because of a discre-
pancy between the density provision for multiple- family residential
development established therein and the approved plans of condominium;
NOW THEREFORE THE COUNCIL OF THE CORPORATION OF THE TOWN OF
PICKERING HEREBY ENACTS AS FOLLOWS:
1. BY-LAW 307/75
(a) Schedule "A" to By-law 307/75 is hereby revoked and
Schedule "A" to this By-law hereby substituted therefor.
(b) Schedule "B" to By-law 307/75 is hereby revoked and
Schedule "B" to this By-law hereby substituted therefor.
2. EFFECTIVE DATE
This By-law shall take effect from the day of passing
hereof, subject to the approval of the Ontario Municipal
Board, if required.

READ A THIRD TIME AND PASSED THIS 21st DAY OF April , 1961.
