BY-LASQ NO. 1277/81
Being a By-Law to appoint an Acting Director
of the Planning Department (Mr. Noel C.
Marshall) and to repeal By-Laws 814/78 and
1189/80.
WHEREAS, pursuant to section 352.63 of The Municipal Act, R.S.O.
1970, chapter 284, the Council of the Corporation of the Town
of Pickering enacted, on May 15th, 1978, By-Law 814/78 appoint-
ing Mr. Richard Tsao Planning Director for the Town of Pickering
effective May 1st, 1978; and
WHEREAS, the Council of the Corporation of the Town of Pickerin
has regretfully accepted Mr. Tsao's resignation from that posi-
tion, effective March 30th, 1981; and
WHEREAS, it is deemed desirable to appoint an Acting Director
of the Planning Department;
NOW THEREFORE, the Council of the Corporation of the Town of
Pickering HEREBY ENACTS AS FOLLOWS:
1. Mr. Noel C. Marshall, Town Manager, is hereby appointed
Acting Director of the Planning Department, effective
April 6th, 1981, to carry out the duties of the Director
until such time as a Director is appointed or this
appointment is terminated.
2. By-Laws 814/78 and 1189/80 are hereby repealed.
BY-LAW read a first, second and third time and finally passed
this 6th day of April, 1981.
