BY-LAW NUMBER 1248/81
Being a Restricted Area By-law to amend Restricted
Area By-law 3037, as amended, to implement the
Official Plan of the Town of Pickering District
Planning Area, Region of Durham, on Part of Lot 33,
Concession 6, in the Town of Pickering.
WHEREAS the Council of the Corporation of the Town of Pickering
deems it desirable to amend By-law 3037, as amended, to permit
outside storage in association with general contracting on
the subject lands being part of Lot 33, Concession 6;
AND WHEREAS an amendment to By-law 3037, as amended, is
therefore deemed necessary;
NOW THEREFORE THE COUNCIL OF THE CORPORATION OF THE TOWN OF
PICKERING HEREBY ENACTS AS FOLLOWS:
1. TEXT AMENDMENT
Section 7 of By-law 3037, as amended, is hereby further
amended by adding thereto the following subsection:
7.5 EXCEPTIONS
7.5.1 Part Lot 33, Concession 6
In addition to the provisions of Section 7.1
hereof, the lands designated on Schedule "I"
to By-law 1248/81 may be used for the purpose
of outside storage in association with general
contracting providing such outside storage is
excluded from the front yard.
2. SCHEDULE AMENDME
Schedule "A" to By-law 3037, as amended, is hereby
further amended by altering from "V" to "V-1" the
zone designation of the lands designated "V-1" on
Schedule "I" hereto.
3. EFFECTIVE DATE
This By-law shall take effect from the day of passing
hereof, subject to the approval of the Ontario Municipal
Board, if required.
