BY-LAW NUMBER 1245/81
Being a by-law to amend By-law 2659, as
amended.
WHEREAS by By-law 2659 passed on February 5th 1962,
public games and sports are permitted to be conducted
on Sunday after 1:30 o'clock in the afternoon; and
WHEREAS by-law 2659 was amended by By-law 2694 passed
on June 4th 1962 to specify the public games and sports
which are permitted to be conducted on Sunday; and
WHEREAS it is deemed expedient to permit the conduct
of bingo games on Sunday;
NOW THEREFORE the Council of the Corporation of the
Town of Pickering HEREBY ENACTS as follows:
1. Section 2 of By-law 2659 is hereby amended
by adding the words "bingo" thereto.
BY-LAW READ a first, second and third time and finally
PASSED this 2ne7? day of MaT--ch 1981.
