HomeMy WebLinkAboutBy-law 1243/81 THE CORPORATION OF THE TOWN OF PICKERING BY-LAW NUMBER 1243/81 Being a by-law to amend By-law 506/76 to provide for the erection of "Stop" signs at certain intersections within the Town of Pickering. WHEREAS By-law 506/76 provides for the erection of "Stop" signs at certain intersections within the Town of Pickering; and WHEREAS it is now deemed expedient to amend that By-law to provide for a stop sign at the easterly leg of Sideline Road 6, Concession 7 and the westerly leg of Sideline Road 6, Concession 7 facing traffic northbound on the easterly leg of Sideline Road 6, Concession 7; NOW THEREFORE the Council of the Corporation of the Town of Pickering HEREBY ENACTS as follows: 1. Schedule "I" to By-law 506/76 is hereby repealed and the Schedule attached hereto as Schedule "A" to this By-law is substituted therefor. 2. This By-law shall come into force on the day that it is approved by the Council of the Regional Municipality of Durham and when signs to the effect are erected.
