BY-LAW NO. 1231/81
Being a By-Law to exempt certain parts of
Plan M-1185 from part lot control
WHEREAS, pursuant to the provisions of subsection 5 of
section 29 of The Planning Act, R.S.O. 1970, chapter
349, as amended, the council of a municipality may by
by-law provide that subsection 4 of the said section
does not apply to lands within a plan of subdivision
as designated in the by-law;
NOW THEREFORE, the Council of the Corporation of the
Town of Pickering HEREBY ENACTS AS FOLLOWS:
1. Subsection 4 of section 29 of The Planning Act,
R.S.O. 1970, chapter 349, as amended, does not
apply to the lands described as follows:
Registered Plan M-1185 - Lots 1-9, inclusive
- Blocks 11-14, inclusive
2. This By-Law shall not come into effect until
approved by the Regional Municipality of Durham.
BY-LAW read a first, second and third time and finally
passed this 2nd day of February, 1981.
