BY-LAW NUMBER 1218/81
Being a by-law to amend By-Law 1024/79
appointing the members of the Pickering
Hydro-Electric Commission for the term
June 22nd, 1979 to November 30th, 1982,
both inclusive.
WHEREAS, pursuant to the provisions of subsection 4 and 10 of
section 2 of The Durham Municipal Hydro-Electric Service Act,
1979, S.O. 1979, c. 71, as amended, the Council of the Corporatio
of the Town of Pickering enacted, on July 30th, 1979, By-Law
1024/79 appointing members to the Pickering Hydro-Electric
Commission; and
WHEREAS by letter dated December 17, 1980, Mr. David W. Burrows
tendered his resignation from the Pickering Hydro-Electric
Commission effective December 31, 1980; and
WHEREAS it is deemed desirable to fill the vacancy created by
the resignation of Mr. Burrows:
NOW THEREFORE the Council of the Corporation of the Town of
Pickering HEREBY ENACTS as follows:
1. Section 1 of By-law 1024/79 is hereby amended
by deleting the name "Mr. David W. Burrows"
and substituting therefor the name "Councillor
Shane Coburn".
BY-LAW READ a first, second and third time and finally PASSED
this 5th day of January, 1981.
