BY-LAW NO. ~_~. 0/82
Being a By-Law to authorize the sale of
a stopped-up portion of Old Trespass
Road (Part Lots 33 and 34, Range 3, B.F.C.;
Part 1, Plan 40R-6529 and Part 1, Plan
40R-6570)
WHEREAS, on October 4th, 1982, pursuant to the provisions of section
298(1) of the Municipal Act, R.S.O. 1980, chapter 302, the Council of
the Corporation of the Town of Pickering enacted By-Law 1552/82
stopping-up those portions of Old Trespass Road located in Lots 33
and 34, Range 3, B.F.C., Pickering, designated as Part 1, Plan 40R-6529
and Part 1, Plan 40R-6570; and
WHEREAS, pursuant to further provisions of the said section, the council
of any municipality may pass by-law to sell the soil and freehold of a
stopped-up highway or part thereof;
NOW THEREFORE, the Council of the Corporation of the Town of Pickering
HEREBY ENACTS AS FOLLOWS:
Those portions of Old Trespass Road stopped-up as public highway
by By-Law 1552/82, being those parts of Lots 33 and 34, Range 3,
B.F.C., Pickering, designated as Part 1, on Plan 40R-6529 and
Part 1 on Plan 40R-6570, shall be offered for sale to the owners
of abutting lands at prices to be fixed by Resolution of this
Council.
BY-LAW read a first, second and third time and finally passed this
4th day of October , 1982.
