BY-LAW NUMBER 1540/82
Being a by-law to appoint Mr. Carl Young
to the Committee of Adjustment.
WHEREAS pursuant to subsection 6 of section 48 of
The Planning Act, R.S.O. 1980, c. 379, members of
the Committee of Adjustment shall hold office until
their successors are appointed, and are eligible
for reappointment, and , where a member ceases to
be a member before the expiration of his term, the
council shall appoint another eligible person for
the unexpired portion of the term; and
WHEREAS Mr. Ellis Britton submitted his resignation
as a member of the Committee of Adjustment and it is
deemed expedient to appoint Mr. Carl Young for the
unexpired portion of Mr. Britton's term;
NOW THEREFORE the Council of the Corporation of the
Town of Pickering HEREBY ENACTS as follows:
Section 2130.1.5 of The Town of Pickering
Municipal Code is hereby amended by deleting
the following:
Mr. Ellis Britton to December 31, 1982
and substituting the following therefor:
Mr. Carl Young to December 31, 1982
BY-LAW READ a first, second and third time and finally
PASSED this 5th day of July 1982.
