BY-LAW NUMBER 1482/82
Being a by-law to amend By-law 1073/79
(Business Licensing) to provide for an
increased licence fee for flea markets
WHEREAS, pursuant to subsection 1 of section 9 of By-law
1073/79 (Business Licensing), upon application on the pre-
scribed form for a flea market or proposed flea market, a
licence may be issued on payment of a fee of $250.00 per
operating day; and
WHEREAS, by resolution passed on the 19th day of April 1982,
the Council of the Corporation of the Town of Pickering
deemed it expedient to increase the said fee to $500.00 per
operating day;
NOW THEREFORE the Council of the Corporation of the Town of
Pickering HEREBY ENACTS AS FOLLOWS:
1. Subsection 1 of section 9 of By-law 1073/79 is hereby
deleted and the following substituted therefor:
1)
Upon application on the prescribed form for a
licence for a flea market or proposed flea
market, a licence may be issued on payment of
a fee of $500.00 per operating day.
BY-LAW READ a first, second and third time and finally PASSED
this 3rd day of May, 1982.
