BY-LAW NUMBER
Being a by-law to amend By-law 1047/79,
as amended, fixing the salaries of the
Commissioners of the Pickering Hydro-
Electric Commission.
WHEREAS pursuant to the provisions of subsection 21 of section 2
of The Durham Municipal Hydro-Electric Service Act, 1979, S.O.
1979, c. 71, as amended, the Council of the Corporation of the
Town of Pickering enacted, on September 17, 1979, By-law 1047/79
to fix the salaries of the Commissioners of the Pickering Hydro-
Electric Commission for the period expiring November 30, 1980;
and
WHEREAS by resolution dated December 15, 1981, the Pickering
Hydro-Electric Commission applied to the Council of the Town of
Pickering to maintain the salaries of the Chairman and Commis-
sioners of the said Commission until November 30, 1982;
NOW THEREFORE the Council of the Corporation of the Town of
Pickering HEREBY ENACTS as follows:
Section 1 of By-law 1047/79, as amended, is
hereby amended by deleting the date "1981"
and substituting therefor the date "1982".
This By-law shall be deemed to have become
effective on December 1, 1981.
BY-LAW READ a first, second and third time and finally PASSED
