Being a by-law to amend By-law 1609/83
authorizing the temporary borrowing of
up to $3,000,000.00 at any one time.
WHEREAS the Council
By-law 1609/83 on
borrowing of up to
and
of the Corporation of the Town of Picketing enacted
January 10th, 1983, to authorize the temporary
$3,000,000.00 at any one time for certain purposes
WHEREAS it is advisable to amend By-law 1609/83 to permit such borrow-
ing to be made from sources other than or in addition to the Canadian
Imperial Bank of Commerce.
NOW THEREFORE the Council of the Corporation of the Town of Pickerin
HEREBY ENACTS as follows:
1. (1)
Section 1 of By-law 1609/83 is hereby amended by deletin
from lines 3 and ~ thereof the words "from the Canadian
Imperial Bank of Commerce".
(2)
That section is hereby further amended by deleting from
lines 9 and 13 the word "Bank" and by substituting therefor
in each caae, the word "lender".
2. Section 2 of By-law 1609/83 is hereby amended by deleting from
line 3 thereof the words "from the said Bank".
BY-LAW READ a first, second and third time and finally PASSED this 12th
day of December, 1983.
